Cannot open something despite strong WiFi and cellular data
How do I open this? I’m connected to a strong WiFi and have my cellular data on.
it might be because the text is old but idk why it won’t let me open this

Even if you have strong Wi-Fi and cellular, you cannot open this image if:
1️⃣ The attachment is no longer stored in iCloud
or
2️⃣ The sender deleted the message from their device
or
3️⃣ The attachment was “optimized” and removed from Apple’s servers due to age
This is especially likely because the message is from:
👉 June 3, 2024 — more than a year old
Unless Messages in iCloud was fully synced at that time, Apple may no longer have the full picture stored.
