Family Sharing: Daughter (15) not getting iCloud+ storage

My daughter (15) is in my Family Sharing group, same country and region (Brazil), and everything with our family setup looks correct.

I have an iCloud+ storage plan, but her account is not receiving the shared storage, while my wife does!

My daughter's device always showed only the free 5 GB plan.

Things I already tried:

  • Disabled and enabled iCloud features on her iPhone.
  • Checked that she is listed as a child in Family Sharing, and I am the organizer.
  • She is already on the free plan, so downgrade (to recieve my plan) is not possible.
  • We both use the same country region.
  • I can't remove her from my our family and add her again, due to apple restrictions for kids under 16.

Nothing changed. She still does not get the shared storage.

Is there anything else I can do, or is this an Apple-side issue that needs support?

Thanks.

Are you sure she's part of that family group?

Does she appear under Settings ➜ Family?

If she's not listed in the general Family list, then she's not part of that Family group and as such cannot share those subscriptions.

If she is, but is not actively using the shared storage then there's something wrong.

Otherwise, users of the free 5GB Cloud Storage should automatically use the shared storage, but if for some reason her account did not, you may be able to get her to use it, by selecting the option directly on her device.

  1. On her device, open the Settings app, then tap Family.
  2. Tap Subscriptions, then tap iCloud+.
  3. Tap Use Family Storage.

If she has her own iCloud Storage subscription then it's not automatically switched and you would need to follow the steps above for her to use the shared storage.
