All songs in the Music database are now selected (checked marked), instead of the few I had selected.

I have more than 10,000 individual songs on my computer in the Music database.

I had painstakingly selected approximately 500 songs to transfer to iPhone.

After updating to iOS26, now EVERY song is selected (ie: has a check mark next to it). However, if I look at individual albums using the Album view, only those few in each album seem selected (however with a star instead of a check mark). And now, when I try to sync my iPhone with my Mac, it tries to copy every song in my database!

How do I fix that without having to unselect every one of those 10,000 songs and going through that painstaking selection again?
