Manual framing / zoom missing from Continuity Camera Video menu

MacBook Pro (13‑inch, M1, 2020) on macOS Tahoe 26.1
iPhone XS Max on iOS XX (Continuity Camera enabled)

When using Continuity Camera (FaceTime, Zoom, QuickTime), the Video menu shows my iPhone (“Daniel’s iPhone Camera”), Portrait, and Mic Mode, but there is no zoom / manual framing control when I hover over the preview.

Apple’s “Use Reactions, Presenter Overlay, and other effects when videoconferencing on Mac” article says manual framing works with a Mac using Continuity Camera with iPhone XR or later on macOS Sonoma or later – which this setup meets.

Is manual framing disabled for iPhone XS Max in Tahoe, or is this a bug? And if so would this work on new iPhones, and if so which ones?
