Here is an example:



Notes:

  1. The 1st action is "Find Photos". Click the Add Filter button after adding the action, choose Name and specify the photo name, without the file extension if it has one. To find the photo name, in the Photos application, right-click a photo and choose Get Info.
  2. The 2nd action is "Quick Look".

tx. i tried this but it's very slow (and mysteriously shows the wrong picture). perhaps it's slow because it has to search thru a very large number of pictures.


i found that if i save the picture to the Files app, i can use the single Open action: Open [file name] in Files. this runs much faster; my guess is that no search is performed.
