missing h/t/H/T or S/L/U/V

When opening a link in an email to Firefox (same thing happens in Safari) I get only the following error message:

missing h/t/H/T or S/L/U/V.

This doesn’t happen on all links, only from certain ones. Also, images will no longer load on emails from news.

The message “missing h/t/H/T or S/L/U/V” means the email contains corrupt links.

The iPad is not the problem — the links are malformed before the browser gets them.

This also explains missing images: the URLs are broken.

Test on another device → you’ll see the same error.

The sender (newsletter, news outlet, etc.) must fix their email link generation.
