Notes deleted on icloud which is the default storage

Please help me. I accidentally deleted all my notes by managing the storage it takes on my icloud. Turns out all my notes were save by default on the icloud and not on my iphone. I didn't know it, I though all files and data on my iphone were by default, saved on my iphone and not on icloud. Now all my notes were gone. :( I tried to check it in icloud.com but there is no recently deleted folder or file :(
