Airdropped videos go to Files app instead of Photos

Hi, Airdropped videos are going directly to the files app, even when the video is in a compatible file format. This is getting very annoying. When I navigate to the files app and click "save video", the video still doesn't appear in my camera roll.

I've tried restarting my phone and testing with sending photos by Airdrop. Any suggestions on this issue would be great as I'm not sure why this is happening.

What is the file format of the video?

Airdropping a Video from the Photos app of another device should always appear in the Photos app of the receiving device, but not always the case when airdropping from another app. You should be able to save the video from the Files app to Photos though if the format is compatible.

Maybe also followup with the OS of the sender and OS of the recipient.
