Apple Watch Series 11 Titanium (46mm) goes from 100% to 18%. Battery only drains.
It’s pretty much in the title, but there is something causing my battery to just drain. Is this expected?
A little bit of context. I had an Ultra 2, with battery life that was amazing and no complaints. Obviously, I know that the battery life of the Ultra 2 is way better than the Series 11. I wanted a sleeker look this year, therefore, I upgraded to a Series 11 titanium.
However, the battery life is terrible. During the day, it drops super fast, and it doesn’t last the advertised 24 hours at all!!! I don’t even use it for workouts or check the time on it that often; it just drops. In sleep mode, the same thing happens. I go to bed with 100% and it drops to 18% after an 8-hour sleep night.
It made no sense, so I booked a Genius appointment. They ran a bunch of tests on the battery, and it said everything was fine.
All common troubleshooting (pretty much unpairing/repairing) was done. So, I went back, and they agreed to exchanging the watch. Now, I have a brand-new Series 11 titanium, and still the same problem… I never restore from a backup; I set it up as a new watch.
I’ve also reset the watch multiple times, unpaired and repaired it repeatedly, and restarted my iPhone several times. None of these steps made any difference.
Please help 😭
PS: Watch is on watchOS 26.1, bug has been happening on watchOS26 as well.
