My iPhone 16 Pro with iOS 26.0.1 vibrates with each newly received Mail message. It didn't do this before the upgrade to 26, and I don't want it to do it now. I have set Sounds & Haptics>New Mail to None, I have set Apps>Mail>Notifications>Allow Notifications to off, and I have power cycled the phone multiple times. What else must I do?

Open the Settings app.
Scroll down and tap on Apps.
Scroll down and tap on Mail.
Tap on Notifications.
Tap on Customize Notifications (at the bottom).
Select the email account you want to change the vibration for.
Make sure Alerts is turned on, then tap on Sounds.
At the very top, tap on Haptics.
From here, you can choose your vibration setting:
Tap the back arrow to save your selection.

Thanks. That's helpful. It turns out the problem was the latest version of Outlook app, which was detecting messages and posting alerts and notifications. I've deleted the app, and that plus your suggested settings eliminated the vibrations.
