How to turn off hints on Apple Watch

Is it possible to turn off "hints" on the Apple Watch? Once I upgraded to OS 26 these started appearing on my watch and covering up parts of the face so that I can't click on, say, the email icon, without first dismissing the "hint." I don't need or want these hints (suggestions that I should start a work out, etc.) (I am taking to calling them "nags.") Is there some way to turn these off?
