I got an iPhone 16 pro and Apple Watch Ultra 2, which the watch do not have any haptics and sound after the iOS 26 and watchOS 26 update. I was hoping that iOS 26.1 and watchOS 26.1 will solve the issue, but it still got no sound and haptics on my watch...
Any one having the same issue?

I remember having haptics issues (no haptics at all; don't believe sound was an issue) after messing with some settings. I was unable to get them back to normal.
So, I unpaired my Apple Watch and pair it again as a new watch, i.e. without restoring the Apple Watch backup. I lost my settings but it wasn't too bad to recreate them. Haptics came right back.

Same issue. Tried everything including talking to Apple Support for 2 hours. They were stumped. Eventually sent in the case to Apple Engineers. They’re getting back to me next week. I suspect it’s a defect in watchOS 26 that they haven’t figured out yet. Will update if they find a resolution.
I also went to a Genius Bar to check for the issue, ran some diagnostics, and they say that everything was normal, or else the issue was not able to be identified by a software check. Do they tell you that they will fix it? Coz I already had the problem for a month.
