I don't think you are looking for "a setting". What you need is the series of steps on the phone that works like the series of steps that worked for you when you had a computer.

As Richard.Taylor said, it would be helpful if you described in tiny detail how you accomplish "load into an email" or "attach to the email", because neither should be capable of changing the shape of the picture to make a rectangle into a circle. Some other process is intervening, perhaps a process you are not aware of invoking.

Like markwmsn, I can't tell what you're doing. I think you need to tell us step by step what buttons you're pushing and in what app. Do you start in the Photos app, or is this something else? Is "my Photo app" the Photos app on the iPhone or some other photography app? If it's Photos, then how are they "loaded into an email?" Really, every step is important…

Have you tried using Scan in Notes? It produces a pdf version.

No, not in a contact card. But, yes, it’s coming up like that each time. It has to be a setting. ?

I’m a professional artist. My paintings are to be loaded into an email and sent to the person who is building my website. They’re sent via my Photo app on my iPhone and/or iPad. Unfortunately, I no longer have a computer so this has been quite a gruelling “make work” project.

I’ve checked the settings as best I can but nothing stands out as the problem. When I try to attach a painting photo to the email addressed to my webmaster, it shows up as if I intended it to be that person’s identity pic (in a tiny circle), as in a Facebook post, etc., for example, rather than as an ordinary website photo image of a painting.

I hope you can help!

Many thanks.
