How long does your Apple Watch Ultra 3 take to detect your heart beat?

I was wondering how long does it take for your Apple Watch to detect your heart rate when you manually tell it to. I don’t know if this is common but it takes my watch like 9 seconds to detect it. I was wondering if this is the same for my fellow Apple Watch users?
