Lost ICloud photos after another person used my computer and logged into her icloud
After another user logged into their own Apple ID on my Mac, my iCloud Photos library seems to have been replaced with an empty one. All my photo albums are still visible by name, but every album is empty. I now only see a few very old photos on my iPhone, and any new videos I save or AirDrop go to the Files app instead of appearing in Photos (although photos still save correctly).
All my devices (Mac and iPhone) are signed into the same Apple ID and have iCloud Photos enabled with plenty of storage space. The missing photos are not in “Recently Deleted,” and my iCloud Data Recovery panel shows no files available to restore.
It looks like my original iCloud Photos container was replaced or detached when the other Apple ID was used on my Mac. I need Apple to restore my previous iCloud Photos library or reconnect this device to that original container.
Request:
Please escalate this to an iCloud Photos senior advisor or engineering support for a server-side restoration of my original iCloud Photos library (before the account switch).
