How to humanize AI-generated writing using Apple Intelligence?

I’m experimenting with Apple Intelligence and wondering if anyone here has tips for making AI-generated writing sound more natural and human. I know Apple’s new tools focus on polishing tone and grammar, but I’m specifically looking to reduce the robotic feel you get from most AI drafts.

Has anyone tried using Apple Intelligence to “humanize” text the way tools like Walter Writes or QuillBot do?

I’ve heard that Apple’s rewrite suggestions are more style-focused than actual humanization, so curious if anyone has figured out a good workflow.

Basically, I’m trying to take something written by ChatGPT, Claude, or even Pages’ own AI assistant and make it sound like it came from a real person with natural flow, some variation in tone.

Open to free options, plug-ins, or just manual editing tips. Any input appreciated!

Kevmo4 ~ Your own AI-inspired prompt in a custom shortcut would provide both automation and avoid Apple's limited style-focused options.

The "Use Model” shortcut action in macOS Tahoe 26 allows you to tap directly into Apple Intelligence models or ChatGPT and provide responses that feed into the rest of your shortcut (iOS, iPadOS, and macOS.)

Into that "Use Model” action you would pass a single block of text consisting of two parts:

<your detailed 'humanize' prompt:>

<the text to be humanized> (passed into your shortcut)

...Ask your AI for advice regarding what to put in <your detailed 'humanize' prompt>:

"If I were to ask you to 'humanize' some pasted-in AI-generated text, what techniques would you apply and suggest a detailed prompt to get the best result."
