Thunderbolt Display camera works for FaceTime and other, but

"Camera not detected message" on zoom and teams

Did you give macOS permission to access that camera in the Privacy & Security System Settings? Usually when you install Zoom, the setup process will ask for permission to use the camera, but I've never personally tried using an external camera before. See this Apple article for details:
