In the Today's News template in Pages, not all elements seem to be editable.

I would like to eliminate, or change the color, of the horizontal lines above and below the Key Topics text, but I can't click them and I can't figure out any setting that makes the lines clickable. I can click all the other lines but not those. Does anyone know if those can be edited?
