Apple Authentication 3.0 Coprocessor I2C communication rate

I have a project here that uses Apple Authentication 3.0 Coprocessor. The current communication rate of I2C is 400KHZ. As it needs to be compatible with other peripherals, I plan to reduce the communication rate to 100KHZ. Could you please evaluate whether it will have an impact on actual use? thank you.
