AirPods 3 pro makes a high pitched screeching sound for a short duration (less than .5 seconds) on the left AirPod whenever I burp when using it

One user found a fix that worked for him:

So I fixed the weird click noise I'd hear when walking or tilting my head to the right by pulling off the silicon ear piece, rotating it 180 degrees, and sticking it back on. Easy and free fix.

Just to be clear, no one from Apple participates in these forums. If you want to discuss this matter with Apple, contact Support. You can use the link at the bottom right of every page of these forums.
Those who are having the high pitch/feedback issue in the earbud(s) need to send it to Apple via the feedback app. This is the only way it will get to Apple techs to work the issue.

Yes! It has to be an issue with pressure. This happened to me today while flying. During both the ascent and descent, when the pressure changed slightly I would get the same high-pitched shrill feedback. As soon as my ears popped it would go away. Once we were at cruising altitude It was definitely not fun. This never happened with my AirPods Pro 2.
Hopefully the wizards they have hidden away at Apple HQ can tell us how to fix it.

Same! Burping and my right AirPod screeches for a millisecond.. Might be just the imperfection of the ear canal leading to pressure difference and/or differences in personal anatomy (while burping the pressure travels only one way?)?
