Screen Shots From Sender are being blured or blank

“Doesnt happen with screen recordings, both users have iphone 16 & state there's no issues on their end. Seems to only be happening with 1 person”

Contact Apple Support:

Given a factory reset did not fix this, do you update your iPhone to the most-recently released update? This may all may be no more than a glitch that has yet to be fixed. And to get this fixed, best you can do is contact Apple Support directly over-the-phone, see Apple F2F at a Genius Bar Appointment at your local Apple Store or have a chat of your product type with Apple Support. In the meantime, report this as a bug to Apple...

So, do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this, letting them know about this issue.  Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come. Apple will know nothing of this, if you don't report it to them.

2. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
3. Comment: on when this’ll began, and how you’ve troubleshot this, this thus far. Include the URL of this thread
4. Proceed from there as necessary

Chiming in with the same issue. All was fine until the 26.0.1 update. My received screen shots appear blank, and I have to blindly click in the blank area to open the screen shot that was sent to me. I have restarted my phone, toggled iMessages on/off several times and restarted the phone again, but nothing is working. This also occurs on my iPad.

It might be a resolution issue. With a more recent phone, the resolution is linely to be much better, and visa versa.

• What does the sender see when they take view their own screenshot?
• What do others see when they they view their screenshots?
• Do you get this from all senders?
• Do you get this when screen recording?

I just wanted to chime in that I get the exact same problem. I've reported it as a bug to Apple, so I'm hoping that's all it is. I've tried multiple resets, reboots, etc. but to no avail. It only happens with screenshots, regular photos work just fine.
