Cannot drag an imported mp3 file into an Apple Music playlist

After I purchase a track from iTunes, modify it in GarageBand, I import it into the Apple Music library. Once I locate it in the library, I cannot drag it into a playlist. What's the problem?

Recently added song appears in playlists but not in main Songs list I recently added some material to my Music library. One song, an MP3 of Dio's "Holy Diver (Live)" got imported, but for some reason it doesn't show up in the main Songs list anywhere. It appears in Recently Added and my playlists, but not in the main listing for some inexplicable reason. Was something possibly damaged or corrupted along the way in? I haven't tried to add the track to my iPod yet, so I don't know if it will appear there or not.

Cannot add imported music to a playlist I have an Apple Music subscription, and I would like to add mp3's to my Apple Music library, in which I usually do through iTunes. But now I can no longer add my imported music to any of my playlists. I used to be able to, but I can't anymore. When I try to add them to a playlist, they show up in the playlist for about 2 minutes, and then disappear when I check the playlist again.

Can’t drag and drop from music to finder i’m trying to drag a song into finder, but it won’t copy the file. how can i do this?

Can you locate it in either Recently Added, Artist or Song and add it to a Playlist from there?
