Change Safari default search window to always be past year

As stated in subject, invariably when I do a web search in Safari using default search engine, Google, the top results are from 11 years ago on Reddit. And you don’t notice the age until you actually navigate there. Not useful.

Is there a way within Safari or on Google search webpage to always search one year back by default?

I can’t find anything on Apple.com or Internet.

I’ve tried to go to settings at bottom of Google.com page , when I’m logged into my Google account, and under advanced search you can set search to past year, but apparently that’s only for the current search and is not saved.

I don’t see anything under Safari settings (and it’s not really a Safari issue, except it’s one of the only browsers that do not allow a way to set this up, s below for Chrome).

For example on Chrome you can add a new custom search called maybe GPY with this link

https://www.google.com/search?q=%s&tbs=qdr:y

Then just type GPY in search bar followed by your search terms.

I don’t see ability to create new custom search in Safari the same way.

If this is not possible is there another good iOS browser (besides Chrome), or search engine where this could be setup on iOS?
