Apple Airport Utility app incompatibility with Sagecom Wi-Fi Pods
Just a note to properly close these threads.
Cable provider solved the issue with reception around the house. They have finally understood my claims for an up to date (frequency issue with old modems) and replaced my unit with a fresh one with protocol WIFI IEEE 802.11ax or WIFI6, still one behind, but a step in right direction. The caveat is that they offered at no cost two WIFI Pods wall units (AExpress?). Modem is SagecomF@ST3896 LLA, and the pod is WI-FI Pod B3A, also Sagecom brand.
Only issue at hand is a dichotomy: can not use Airport utility, because it is controlled with iPad/iPhone app not available for Mac OS. The advantage/disadvantage is to switch mind to forget Mac OS changes and the eternal static response from Apple to work with routers and their apps.
Will maintain AExpress just for music (AirPlay) with older portable Mac.
Now will try to sell all the AirPort A1264 and A1521 around the house.
