I have 230 photos missing from a particular event/location in the library view on iOS on my phone only. Other photos from that day appear. These photos show on my iPad in library, my laptop library and Mac mini library. If I search for the date I can find the photos that way. I checked the missing photos link in another thread and nothing in that helped (not hidden etc.). Any ideas?

Salmi209, have you set the iPhone to show all photos? The Filter may be set to show only the favorites.
while viewing the Library, tap the button with the downarrow to the right of Library, then tap "Filter" and make sure, it is set to "All Photos".

Have you checked the sorting of the Library? It can be sorted by Date Captured or by Date Added, and that can lead to confusion. I always expect to be looking for date captured, but sometimes I've changed it, and pictures have jumped to a different location.
