Upated on ios26 on iphone 14 pro 1tb. Phone turned into brick. read the forums and di factory restore. Before doing restore - i bought iclou storage 200gb and sync photos but when i restored all photos are gone. !! please help - i dont have photos saved anywhere else !!

I assume iCloud Photos was turned on? You needed to wait maybe a day or two for iCloud Photos to populate before zapping the phone, assuming the phone was capable.
Not sure how a “bricked” phone could sync anything anyway. Making this kind of sync storage or backup has to be done before the phone is bricked. If this is the situation, the data is gone for good.
If the pictures weren’t synced or backed up before the phone “bricked” you can’t recover them. You must save, sync, or backup before an issue happens.
I bought 200 go iCloud storage space. Hit the backup now twice but it didn’t back up my photos. Yes back up photos option was also selected
