Apple Pencil pro not working on iPad Pro M4 after iOS 26 update

I have an iPad Pro m4 and the Apple Pencil pro both have been working fine. I installed iOS 26 and now the pencil is not working. It is connected as I see the charge bubble. It also shows up in my Bluetooth settings and in settings menu. I have done a force reboot, still not working. I have also unpaired and repaired the pencil. It pairs quickly. When I remove the pencil it does not show connected in the Bluetooth menu. Has anyone found a resolution yet?
