Lost all my local calendars

Hello, the other day my laptop ran out of memory and when I restarted and reopened my calendar application, all of my local ("on my mac") calendars were missing.

I opened up my ~/Library/Calendars and didn't find anything resembling a calendar.

I also went into my Time Machine backups from 2025 and none of the Calendars folders had anything either.

The contents of that folder are typically:

  • Calendary Sync Changes
  • Calendar Sync ClientID Conflicts.tmp
  • NotificationIconCache

Is there somewhere else I should be looking for locally stored calendar files?

I'm running Sequoia 15.5 on a MacBook Air M2

Thanks so much for any recommendations!

In case it's helpful to anybody else, the calendar files are now located in ~/Library/Group Containers/group.com.apple.calendar. They are in a database called Calendar.sqlite.db.
