Fire from USB-C port on MacBook Air M2 while charging iPhone

I experienced with my MacBook Air M2 (2022). Two days ago, while attempting to charge my iPhone using the original Apple USB-C to Lightning cable connected to one of the USB-C ports on my MacBook, I suddenly noticed smoke and a burning smell coming from the port.

Alarmed, I immediately unplugged the cable from both my iPhone and the MacBook. Within seconds, I saw actual fire coming from the USB-C port of the laptop. I was incredibly frightened and concerned for my safety and the safety of my devices.
