Transferring 2TB drive from M1 to M4 hub without machine-to-machine or backup options

Neither using a machine to machine transfer via thunderbolt cable or backup transfer. Neither includes the drive and its information.

Original Title: Transferring a 2TB drive from an m1 hub to a new m4 hub. Can't do it via machine to machine transfer or recovery from a backup.
