How can I password protect Pages app on my iPad Air?

i just installed the Pages app on my ipad as i have documents i want to password protect, but cannot see any way to do that. Help please!

Thanks, but all ok now. It seemed to be a temporary issue with the app; I rebooted my iPad and all was well!
