Shipment on hold for over a week: How to follow up with Apple?

Purchased Aug 19 and for a week the status is only shipment on hold. How many weeks before it could be cleared? who should i follow up with

A good start would be DHL.

Customs is experiencing confusion and backlogs over the constantly changing tariff “posturing” and “posts.”


e.g. “How much tariff does the importer owe the U.S. Gov’t “today” for an item assembled in Country X with parts produced in countries X, Y, Z, A, B, & C ???


DHL — not wanting to get “stuck” with state-side warehouses full of “non-cleared” cargo — has recently even started imposing restrictions on transporting some U.S.-bound cargo until the U.S. Gov’t gets it’s act together.
