Repeated scam calendar invitation on iPhone

Today I received an invitation from a scam to transfer money from PayPal to crypto. I declined the invitation, but it keeps reappearing. I was not able to block them immediately, so I had to add them as a contact and then block them. But it still keeps appearing on my calendar.
