Apple Cash refunds not reflected on account through app wallet . Why? where did the funds go?

I made a few purchases using apple cash but later returned and was refunded back to original payment method but I cannot see funds reflected back on account or on my wallet where did it go?

upon checking my original Apple Cash account is still active but a different card is available on my wallet. What will happen if funds was refunded to that account?
