Hi adelin82

Re: MacBook Air 13": "Hearing aid on WhatsApp" : "... when I'm trying to get on a call on WhatsApp they cannot hear me or even hear them. It's just like all audio and mic just cut off. ..."
Am no expert in this area, yet your post to the community deserves some response.
✽ You might want to check the settings in System Settings > Sound >
You can check both Input ... and Output .... you can check input and output volume there too.
✽ Also: Seems we would need to check whether hearing-aids and Mac are both compatible with Apple's hearing-aid software and settings,
or
✽ whether the hearing-aids must rely on Bluetooth, and, if there is one, the manufacturer's app.
✽ Important: Whichever software you use, keeping the hearing-aids firmware up-to-date is wise.
✽ About third-party (non-Apple) apps like "What's App"::
To use them, they may require that you manage the sharing and privacy settings.
More info. on Third-party app settings - Apple Support
Eg: says:
"Apple settings for third-party apps
Some settings for third-party apps can be managed in the Settings app. These settings include what Apple device functionality the app can access and use. Some examples include access to Location, Contacts, Photos or the ability to send notifications.
To manage these settings, go to Settings , scroll down, then tap the app you want to manage."
If your hearing-aids are "Made for iPhone" (Mfi) compatible, they may also be compatible with your Mac.
Apple Support's online article : List of Made for iPhone hearing devices - Apple Support has all the info.
g: Look first for the rmanufacturer's name, to find if your model is there.
Eg: Hearing Aid models on the list, and with an asterisk (*) after the model name are compatible with some Macs.
ie: listed at the bottom of the article :
It says: "MacBook Air introduced in 2022 or later using macOS Sequoia 15 or later"

All the best :-)
