Unable to purchase AppleCare for iPhone 16 Pro Max

I discovered that I cannot purchase the AppleCare for my brand new iPhone 16 Pro Max. The irony is I purchased it on the Apple website. I picked it up at an Apple Store but because I did this in Canada and my Apple account is in the US. I am unable to extend and purchase the AppleCare you can’t even call them to buy it. Does anyone have a workaround for this? I’ve already called them and talked to three different people so I’m hoping somebody in the community can tell me if there’s a workaround so that I can get my AppleCare Thanks

Apple said I have to cancel all of my subscriptions in the US account and switch regions. I cannot do that. I usually purchase all of my Apple products in the USA but, I am in Canada and purchased it here. I guess I can get a third party if the Apple Store here cannot help me.

You can have all sorts of issues when you have your Apple Account set to a different region you live in, then purchase some products elsewhere and some where you live. There is no way to circumvent it that I am aware of, and if so, we wouldn’t be able to help you on that. Apple products are sold regionally. Sorry.
