How do I stop my iPad videos from restarting automatically?

when the arrow appears and I click it to start a video, it works...for about 7-8 seconds and then stops. if I tap it again it start again and continues. The reverse when I it the II pause button - I tap it, walk away and it a few seconds it's running again.


Any tips to fix this?

First off, I would try on a different browser to see if this issue still persists. (Safari, Chrome, etc.)


You can also try if there is some touch interference, make sure the screen is clean and responses to touches perfectly.


Lastly, try to disable bluetooth and check your AirPods, etc. Sometime bluetooth accessories could cause the video playback to pause, e.g. when removed from ear, or some sensor sends a pause signal.
