Is there a simple way to change the audio resolution when exporting a Final Cut Pro movie? It's easy enough to change the video resolution, but there doesn't seem to be an option to (for example) export a Project whose audio was recorded at 96kHz (and the project is set to the same resolution) but changing the audio to 48 or 44.1 kHz.
You can simply change the project settings before you export.
If you select the project in the Event Browser, in the Info inspector, you can click the Modify button to change the (allowable) project settings. Audio Sample Rate options are:
I think the audio is what is set in the project properties.
You can create a new project with the desired audio sample rate, select all, copy, paste into the new project and export that. Not very immediate, but a feasible workaround if you don't have Compressor.
Send the project to Compressor. You can change everything there.
Or make a custom preset in Compressor, use it to make a custom preset in FCP.
