How to access Podcasts in order, first to most recent?

I stumbled on a podcast with 320 episodes - on the history of Byzantium. I’d like to start with episode 1, then 2, and so on, as if reading a book, since in effect it is a book, and the podcasts treat the history as chronological. But every time I want to consume a podcast, it seems, I have to scroll through three hundred titles to find it.

The same goes for many other podcasts. When I browse, I like to start not with the most recent chapter, but with the first. What kind of person reads texts backwards? I don’t start with the last chapter of a novel. Yet many podcasts are oral novels or novellas, with many “chapters.” Apple should give “readers” of these “texts” the option to start at the beginning and not at the end.

I know some people read magazines by first looking at the “back of the book,” because it’s usually reserved for a special kind of article that interests back-of-the-book readers.
