How can I stop my AirPods Max from disconnecting and reconnecting?

The airpod maxes goes only to one ear for a while but then it disconnects. Then when i try to connect it back then it automatically say that “ the maxes won’t connect.” and “ forget this device.” Then i do the hard reset where you push the both the buttons and hold for 15 seconds. Then it connects and becomes a never ending cycle. If there is any way to fix this please let me know.
