I used to be able to type a bullet point • with option-8. Now when I do that I get NOTHING. How do I turn that bullet back on? OS 15.3.2.

That actually makes good sense. It's something that got set in MY account, and if that gets migrated to a fresh install, the problem will still be there.

There is a procedure to try and fix a corrupt account that does not involve reinstall or migration; but I am not persuaded that this is the kind of account corruption that would be fixed by it...
