My phone was updated to iOS 18.3.2 last night and ever since my apple car play won’t work. My car recognises the device through wireless Bluetooth however I’m not able to use apple car play. This happened before and resolved with an update but now I’m back to square one

Same here. Tried a diff phone (work phone) and it connected. Tried restarting, tried a diff cord, tried forgetting the car and now it can’t find it at all.
Hey Apple - what about a fix?

My iPhone 13 stop working in my car using CarPlay when I up graded iOS 18.3.2. Everyone else’s phone works. Even my old iPhone 11 works but not my 13 stopped. I can only use the wireless. It worked just fine before it upgraded.
iPhone 12 Pro Max with iOS 18.3.2
I can stream music via Ugreen Bluetooth in my car but when I ask Siri to read my messages, nothing is heard via the car speakers. This worked before the upgrade to 18.3.2.
Upgrading to 18.4 fixed the wireless CarPlay but corded still does not work.
A guy at the dealership has a 12 on 18.3.2 and his corded worked.
idk if anyone running iOS 3 or 4 versions old to be able to ask if reverting the iOS would work and that can be a pain.

I have the same issue! And on my phone there is no connection so I can’t get messages anymore

What is Apple doing about this fiasco? Anyone have any idea of a fix or work around that works?
This should be fixed in the next release as some of us were able to confirm the fix in a pre-release version that we had installed recently.
same issue here - for whatever reason 18.3.2 crashes carplay to work
actually upgrading to 18.4 and hope the bug is gone again!
Can we download the pre-release version too? How do we get to it?
