I sent my son my Apple Cash some time ago, as a little surprise fun money thing, but he's not tech savvy and can't figure out what's wrong, he can't access it. I don't know why because I'm not much more savvy than he is (unfortunately) can anyone help me get it back to my account or help him use it?

If the cash transfer is still listed as pending, you can cancel it.
If you have an issue with an Apple Cash transaction - Apple Support
That’ll revert the cash to you.
If the transfer is completed and cannot be cancelled, then the cash was accepted by the recipient.
Once you get the money back, you can decide whether to try again.
Here is how this is supposed to work, with the prerequisites:

The funds were returned to your account 7 days after you send the funds. Recipient has 7 days to accept the transfer. If not accepted with 7 days, funds are returned to sender.
