Mysteriously vanishing apple card money

1) opened wallet

2) Activated send or request

3) Activated tap to cash

4) Put in 50 (didn’t realize this was E-Mail so didn’t fill in address)

5) Hit next (I think)

Money was removed from Apple Pay, but no transaction was recorded.

What happened to the money?
