FCPx creating black shadows when I add x axis motion with key frames
I’m creating a multiframe music video (multiple musicians on the screen at once) and whenever I try and create a panning effect with key framing it seems to make a mess of it, but only on the x-axis.
I’ve just taken video of it from my phone so i’m not uploading massive video sizes, so hopefully you get an idea of what I’m trying to do.
Pictures 1-4:
a simple pan of frames across the screen from right to left. Each individual clip is set up within the video with an adjustment layer. But the x-axis movement then brings in these black shadows as clips move across the screen.
Picture 4: at this section of the video, my multiframes are compounded into one clip, which I’m then trying to start zoomed into, and gradually pan around and zoom out for that part of the song. But any time I’m zoomed in and then transform the x-axis (ie. to start zoomed in at the top right of my multiframe clip) it adds the black shadow for the same amount that I’ve moved the x-axis over.
It does this after rendering, and exporting the movie, so it’s not just a playback issue.
any ideas?
