iTunes library on really old laptop

Hello community. I have an extensive (thousands) of songs via burned CD’s; iTunes purchases; etc on a very old laptop that has probably been compromised and would like to wipe that laptop clean and send it for recycling. If I wipe out my library on this computer will I still have access to all my music on my phone like I do now? I subscribe to iTunes Match. I’m afraid to download my library onto a Zip drive and upload it to another laptop because of security issues. Help! Thank you!

iPhone 13 Pro Max, iOS 18

If you have iTunes Match you should be able to restore from that, but perhaps you should transfer the library to a new computer. As the library itself can’t be infected there should be no risk in doing that. iTunes: How to move your music to a new computer
