Magnetic charging of my Apple Pencil no longer works. I can charge withe usb cable. When I snap it to the side it doesn’t acknowledge it nor does it charge. I know this use to work. I have tried rebooting my iPad.

While the USB-C Pencil can be attached to the host iPad magnetically - the USB-C Pencil does not support inductive charging. The USB-C Pencil can only be paired and charged using a USB-C cable:

By contrast, the Apple Pencil Pro and second generation Apple Pencil can only be paired and charged by attaching the Pencil to the host iPad's inductive charging dock.
