Question about Apple Support interaction.

I called Apple support and the lady and I were trouble shooting to get rid of a hacker on my phone, we were disconnected so she called me back. She had mentioned that she was from Maine, but the call I received was from Texas, about 42 hour drive, and 3384kms away. When we were disconnected, and she called me directly from her home in Maine, but once again the phone number that came up said Texas. Was this a fraudulent phone call. Or are Apple’s phones really like this, and don’t say Apple Support like usual? Also there were two devices on my account, and it seems mine is now off, and merged with the one I thought was the fraud. What should I do? How do I find out for sure? Waiting anxiously, Joyous37
