Migrated Photos Library, Can I delete

As your current Photos Library is smaller than the "iPhoto Library.migratedphotoslibrary", there may be missing photos.

You could test this by starting an import of the "iPhoto Library.migratedphotoslibrary"into your current library. Don't go through with the impost, just use it to let Photos show you the "New" photos that are not yet in your Photos Library, like this:

• Rename the "iPhoto Library.migratedphotoslibrary" to "iPhoto Library.photolibrary . Otherwise Photos might refuse to import from it.
• Use File > Import, then select your "iPhoto Library.photolibrary" for importing.
• Wait for Photos to show you the photos, that are "New", not yet in your Photos Library. Are there photos shown as missing, that you want to keep? Then select them for importing.

Put that item in the trash. Now open Photos. Does it open? Work normally? If so, empty the trash.
