Add title to photos in Photos application.

I have been trying to add titles to the photos I have in my Photos application by clicking each photo, then information and then write in the title and clicking enter but it does not work. Can anyone please tell me what I am doing wrong?

It sounds just about right to me. I select a picture and use ⌘-i to bring up the Info Window.

I click in the title field at the top, and type in my title. Then I click the next picture and do it again. But I never tap Enter-- it's not necessary--hitting Enter just selects the Title so you can copy it if you want to past it somewhere else.

When you're through entering titles, you can type ⌘-i again to close the Info Window, or you can click the red circle at the top of the window.

Does this work for you?

Hello Richard, I don't understand why I could not get this to work before but I have just run through all your posts again and as soon as I clicked Metadata, the names of all the photos appeared. They were originally named by the photographer. So, many thanks for your patience and perseverance. It was much appreciated. Best wishes. Brian.
